Baked Tortellini

Baked tortellini is an indulgent situation to begin with, but add some extra cheese, pepperoni, peppers, and olives on top and it is NEXT level. If you’re a pizza lover, check out my Deep Dish Detroit-Style Pizza. Switch things up from the traditional ‘zaa with this Italian Stuffed Stromboli. Need some breakfast inspo? Obviously. This is the Tastiest Breakfast Pizza Recipe. Feeling adventurous? Skip the red sauce and whip up my Pizza Bianca with Beer-Braised Onions and Balsamic Glaze.

TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE:

  • This pasta dish reheats wonderfully. You can refrigerate or freeze it and simply reheat by bringing it back to temperature in the oven. Pouring a few tablespoons of water over the pasta will keep it from drying out.
  • The Sofritto seasoning I used includes a blend of dried crispy onions, sun-dried tomatoes, sea salt, garlic, red peppers, parsley, rosemary, and sage. If you can’t find a similar mix, you can always make your own by combining equal parts of these spices! Trader Joe’s keeps it easy with a pre-made version.
  • Looking to sneak in some extra veggies? Swap out cheese tortellini for some spinach tortellini in this recipe.
