This no-bake recipe is such a crowd pleaser. It’s actually a great snack to have year-round. Serve it at parties, during movie night or gift it to a friend! You’ll need a few pantry staples, plus the following:
- Life Cereal
- Tiny Twist Pretzels
- Mixed Nuts
- Crushed Fritos
The liquid ingredients (aka pantry staples) include Pepsi, melted butter, sugar, baking soda and corn syrup. When everything is mixed together and cools, the liquid forms this candy crust around the salty snack combo that’s absolutely irresistible! I promise, your tastebuds are going to swoon!
HOW TO MAKE PEPSI PARTY MIX:
- First, you’re going to melt the butter over medium heat in a saucepan. You can alternatively use a microwave but I prefer the stove method.
- Once melted, stir in the sugar and cornstarch, then bring all ingredients to a boil. Continue stirring every 30 seconds and boil for two minutes. Stir in the baking soda and Pepsi.
- Toss the mixed nuts, pretzels, crushed Fritos and Life cereal in a large mixing bowl. Pour the butter / syrup mix over the dry ingredients while gently stirring. Once evenly coated, pour the party mix across two baking sheets to cool. Break up into smaller pieces, as needed, and enjoy!
- Store any leftovers in a sealed container, at room temperature, for up to 2 days.
