I’m digging deep into the Slice of Jess archives to bring you some of my absolute faves for meal planning. For anyone struggling with the “what’s for dinner?” dilemma, I’ve got you! Let’s get cookin’… shall we?

SUNDAY SUPPER:
I’m not messing around with my Deep Dish Detriot Style Pizza. Crispy on the outside, soft and chewy in the center. The best of both worlds!
MEATLESS MONDAY:
Serve these Classic Maryland Crab Cakes with my Spicy Chickpea Cucumber Salad for a fresh spring supper. They’re made with jumbo lumps of crab meat, fresh herbs, and spices. Top ’em with lemon juice and tartar – YUM!
TASTY TUESDAY:
These Air Fryer Fried Chicken Bites are great as a high protein snack, but if you’d like to make them into a full meal I suggest serving them inside a biscuit (a true southern treat!). You could also toss them together and serve as a Fried Chicken Cobb Salad. The crispy parmesan crust takes these to the next level.
WACKY WEDNESDAY:
It’s breakfast for dinner with my Chicken Wing Breakfast Chilaquiles! Fried Tortilla Chips smothered in a homemade red sauce and topped with all the good stuff! Seriously, you can enjoy these any time of day!
TOASTY THURSDAY:
These Monte Cristo Sliders are what dreams are made of. Soft brioche rolls stuffed with turkey, ham, brie, and raspberry jam… yes, please! Make a whole meal out of appetizers by serving these alongside my Family-Friendly Charcuterie Board!
FREE-FOR-ALL FRIDAY:
French fries certainly qualify for dinner when they’re topped with all of these goodies! Piled high, get ready to nosh on roasted red pepper sauce, whipped feta, ripe tomatoes, creamy chickpeas, crunchy romaine, briny capers, and a sprinkle of fresh Italian parsley. You could also top my Mediterranean-Style Loaded Fries with grilled chicken chunks for some added protein.
SASSY SALAD SATURDAY:
Is it even summer if we’re not whipping up some pasta salad? My BLT Version will not disappoint. Silky noodles tossed with bacon, veggies, and herbs will create a combo that everyone will swoon for.

PERSONAL NOTE: This week we had to say goodbye to our beloved King Ramzy II. He was our baby for 13 years. Crossing over the rainbow bridge is always a heartbreak… but I’m sure he was greeted by his sister, Penny, at the gates. I hope they’re eating cheese, chasing squirrels and snuggle together at night ( just like they used to here on earth). Here’s a video I made for him.
Thank you for joining us this week on Meal Planning Ideas!
