Salted Caramel Dessert Cheeseball

October 6, 2022 By Jessica Leave a Comment

This dessert cheeseball is an easy way to satisfy that sweet tooth during your next football party, potluck, holiday, or family gathering.

Dessert Cheeseball

Ya’ll know I’m typically a savory-type gal, but once in a while I find myself craving the opposite. So when I do… it’s a go big or go home type of situation. I recently discovered The Cheesecake Factory at Home Decadent Desserts Puddings while shopping at my local Ingles Market… so today, I’m utilizing their Salted Caramel version! I learned all about Ingles Markets when I took a farm tour with the North Carolina Department of Agriculture back in 2017. Since then, I always make sure to swing by when I’m in the Asheville area.

INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:

I’m all about mixing sweet and savory, so I served mine with a variety of salty crackers and pretzels; I also included cookies for those who are #teamdesserts.

FOR THE CHEESEBALL:

  • Cream Cheese
  • Butter
  • The Cheesecake Factory at Home Salted Caramel Pudding
  • Toffee Pieces
  • Crushed Nila Wafers
  • Chopped Pecans
  • White Chocolate Chips
  • Mini Milk Chocolate Chips

SUGGESTIONS FOR DIPPING:

  • Pretzel Sticks
  • Vanilla Wafers
  • Animal Crackers
  • Pecan Sandies
  • Salty Crackers

The dippin’ situation is totally up to you… the items listed here are what I personally used but feel free to mix things up! Fresh strawberries would taste great, as well as graham crackers, mini cupcakes, or chocolate brittle!

NOTES ON THIS RECIPE:

  • The Cheesecake Factory at Home Decadent Desserts Puddings come in many flavors, click the link to check them all out!
  • I like the mix of white and milk chocolate in this recipe, but I encourage you to use whatever you enjoy most! Dark chocolate goes well with this dip, too! Sometimes I even mix the chips INTO the cheeseball and simply cover with chopped pecans.
  • You can certainly make this dessert cheeseball up to a day in advance, simply follow through step 2 and place it in the refrigerator. When you’re ready to serve, finish with step 3.
