When it comes to entertaining smaller crowds, these antipasti board flatbreads are the perfect offering. They’re salty, sweet, and fuss-free. Think of these as the “best bites” from an entire charcuterie platter.
I don’t have a huge extended family, so when we host holiday gatherings with my in-laws I like to make individual sized appetizers. Not only does it save me time because I’m not designing an entire board, but these are usually all eaten up and nothing goes to waste. Other apps we enjoy include these Avocado Toast Tapas, my Mini Bacon Onion Quiches, and these Air Fryer Arancini Balls with Red Pepper Sauce.

ANTIPASTI BOARD BITES: 3-WAYS
Whenever I make individual-sized portions, I like to offer more than one “flavor”. Here are three options that I know you’ll be smitten with.
SAVORY & SWEET PROSCIUTTO:
- Mini Flatbreads
- Arugula
- Prosciutto
- Mozzarella Pearls
- Hot Honey (or regular)
- Crushed Pistachios
CAPRESE:
- Mini Flatbreads
- Campari Tomatoes (sprinkled with salt)
- Burrata
- Fresh Basil
- Aged Balsamic Glaze
FESTIVE SOPRESSATA:
- Mini Flatbreads
- Cranberry Jelly
- Sopressata
- Garlic and Herb Goat Cheese
- Gerkins or Sliced Dill Pickles
While these three options are totally delicious, feel free to make your own with what you have on hand! I’m thinking dried apricots, cheddar cheese cubes, roasted tomatoes, caramelized onions, olives… you name it!
I always have the best time while browsing through Earth Fare’s Specialty Cheese Section. With such a variety of choices, there’s an endless amount of possibilities. They carry a bunch of local brands, which is so fun to peruse through and find something new. They have a large variety of crackers to go alongside, as well as preserves, nuts, honey, and wines.

- 6 Mini Flatbreads
- 12 Arugula Leaves
- 6 Slices of Prosciutto
- 18 Mozzarella Pearls
- 6 Small Toothpicks
- Drizzle each with Hot Honey (or regular)
- ¼ cup Crushed Pistachios
- 6 Mini Flatbreads
- 2 Campari Tomatoes, sliced 3-Ways
- 1 Burrata Ball, sliced into 6
- 6 Fresh Basil Leaves
- Drizzle each with Aged Balsamic Glaze
- 6 Mini Flatbreads
- ¼ cup Cranberry Jelly
- 6 Sopressata Slices
- 3 tbsp. Garlic and Herb Goat Cheese
- 6 Gerkins or Dill Pickle Slices
- SAVORY & SWEET PORSCIUTTO: Layer each flatbread in the order listed above. The mozzarella pearls are slid onto the toothpicks. See photos. Repeat until all flatbreads are assembled. Add as much (or as little) of the hot honey as you prefer, then sprinkle the entire platter with pistachios.
- CAPRESE: Layer each flatbread in the order listed above.
- FESTIVE SOPRESSATA: Layer each flatbread in the order listed above. Note: I like to fold the Sopressata in 4ths and add the ½ tablespoon of goat cheese into the middle.
NOTES ON THIS RECIPE:
- I used Stonefire mini flatbreads from Earth Fare’s refrigerated bakery department. However, you can also swap these out for toasted crostinis or sliced up pita breads as a base.
- If you need to add a little more oomph to your serving area, plate with grapes, a few assorted nuts, stuffed olives, or a wheel of brie with crackers.
- Two to three mini flatbreads per person should be sufficient if you’re wondering how many you should make for your get together.
