INGREDIENTS YOU’LL NEED:
This is my go-to recipe when it comes to getting dinner on the table in 30 minutes. It makes a large batch that can easily feed a crowd. Thanks to the best-selling Italian inspired canned tomato brand in the US, this recipe comes together in a flash (and tastes phenomenal). Next time you’re looking for new recipes, tips, techniques and ideas to help elevate your cooking, Tutorosso® has got you covered. Their mission is to provide the freshest, best-tasting, Italian Inspired tomato products in the world. The pride and care of their family ownership delivers quality you can both see and taste.
- Ground Beef:I like to use lean ground beef for this recipe, as it is flavorful and has less grease.
- White Onion:Dice the onion into equal sized smaller chunks for sautéing.
- Garlic Cloves:There’s nothing more aromatic than fresh garlic. Mince two of them before adding to the pot.
- Bell Peppers:This recipe calls for half red, half green. The mix of both is rather tasty.
- Chili Seasoning Packet:This adds a bit of zip!
- Diced Tomatoes:Tuttorosso® Diced Tomatoes are the perfect consistency.
- Crushed Tomatoes:I love that Tuttorosso® Crushed Tomatoes come with basil included!
- Tomato Sauce:Tuttorosso® Tomato Sauce is the perfect balance of taste and texture.
- Chili Hot Beans:Love the balance of creamy beans along with the beef, sautéed veggies and tomatoes.
HOW TO MAKE THE EASIEST CHILI RECIPE:
You know what I love about this classic chili recipe? Not only is it flavorful and delicious, but it is simple to make and only uses one pot. Hello, easy clean-up!
- Brown ground beef, garlic, onion, and peppers in a large soup stockpot. Drain, if necessary.
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 20 minutes to blend flavors.
Voila, that’s it! I like to serve mine with a variety of toppings on the side, which allows everyone to customize their bowls to their personal likings. Some of our family favorites include shredded cheese, diced avocado, fresh jalapeños, sour cream and cilantro. A sprinkle of Fritos is never a bad idea either.

NOTES ON THIS RECIPE:
- Any type of onion will work in this recipe. I personally prefer white onion, but you can also substitute with sweet yellow or red if you’d like.
- Depending on your grocery store’s layout, you can find the chili seasoning packet next to the spices, near the canned beans or adjacent to the taco seasonings.
- Once cooled after cooking, leftovers should be kept in an airtight container, refrigerated. Enjoy within 5 days. You can also freeze the leftovers in a Ziplock bag. Make sure to squeeze all the air out, lay it flat for freezing and enjoy it within a month.
