This Berry & Banana Nut Smoothie recipe is a great way to start your day.
There’s also an excellent source of vitamins and fiber!
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup of frozen Mixed Berries
- 1 Banana (preferably frozen)
- 1/3 cup of FF Greek Yogurt
- 3 tbsp ground Flax Seed Meal
- 3 tbsp sliced Almonds
- 1 1/3 cup of Coconut Water {or you can use juice, plain water or Almond Milk}
- Top with Chia Seeds
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in a blender (except the Chia Seeds) and blend until you reach your desired consistency.
- Top with Chia Seeds.
- Slurp…. Slurp…. Slurp. Ahhhhh Yummy.
Mix In Ideas:
- 1/2 cup Spinach
- 5 baby Carrots
- Hemp Hearts {for topping}
- 2 tbsp. Almond Butter
