Sweet, salty, savory, and utterly drool-worthy… surprise your sweetie with this Fully Loaded Bo-Berry Biscuit on Valentine’s Day.
Each year around Valentine’s Day, Bogangles’ has a limited release of their heart-shaped Bo-Berry Biscuit at select restaurant locations.
Buttery, flakey, and filled with Bo-Time deliciousness… this little gem taste like pure gold. Lucky for me, their team hand-delivered a box of these sweet treats to my front door yesterday.
My personal batch of biscuits came with a separate bottle of frosting for decorating. I decided to take things to the next level and create the ultimate breakfast sammie while I was at it. I’m a sucker for anything with contrasting flavors, so I went ahead and filled these bad boys with a few of my favorite ingredients.
- 1 Bo-Berry Biscuit from Bojangles
- Cream Cheese, as needed
- 5-6 Strawberries, sliced
- 3 Strips of Bacon, cooked
- Honey, as needed
- Cut the biscuit in half, lengthwise, to form the outer layers of your biscuit sandwich. Go ahead and toast the biscuit if you'd like.
- Smear the bottom half with cream cheese and then top with strawberries, cooked bacon and a drizzle of honey.
- Place top half on the sandwich and enjoy.
There’s nothing quite like a biscuit sandwich, especially when they involve velvety cream cheese that’s topped with all the sweet & salty frills.
It’s comforting, it’s rich, and it’s filled with love. So go ahead and grab a few Bo-Berry Biscuits this year and make your loved ones the ultimate Valentine’s Day treat. Although this recipe only makes one individual sandwich, I encourage you to make three or four since you already have all the ingredients out. You’ll thank me in the end.
Please note that this delicious beast-of-a-biscuit cannot be found at Bojangles’ restaurant locations (You gotta make it yourself). The heart-shaped Bo-Berry Biscuits are only available from early February through the 14th, so I encourage you to make one of these double-deckers ASAP.
If you happen to stumble upon this post after Valentine’s Day, go ahead and make this sandwich with their regular Bo-Berry Biscuits (available year-round)… it’ll still taste the same. 🙂
I’d like to send a special thank you to Bojangles’ for my delicious delivery of Bo-Berry Biscuits. Ya’ll are the best.
