Raise your hand if you’re ready for summer cocktail season. This girl is, right here.
Spring is in full bloom and next season’s heat wave will be here before we know it. These Brizo Mules are a refreshing mix of vodka, a squeeze of lime juice, fresh mint, and Brizo’s Ginger Lime Craft Spiked Seltzer. They’re perfect for poolside parties, backyard barbecue’s, or snuggling on the couch while watching Netflix. This versatile cocktail recipe pairs well with just about any occasion (and season, for that matter… add some crushed cranberries in the winter and you’ve got yourself a whole new beverage!).
NoDa Brewing started pouring Brizo’s boozy seltzer waters on draft in their taproom last October.
Two of the most popular flavors to date are their Ginger Lime and Raspberry Lemon. After receiving multiple requests for a to-go option, NoDa Brewing released both varieties in 16-ounce cans. These fizzy favorites sit at 4.85% ABV, are gluten-reduced, and taste phenomenal.
You’ll notice that Brizo Craft Spiked Seltzer IS NOT clear, like other seltzers on the market. That’s because NoDa Brewing only uses the good stuff, (natural puree + fruit) which comes with color. Life is color… so don’t waste your time on those clear, artificial flavored wannabe’s.

My Brizo Mule couldn’t be easier to make at home. Simply follow these photo directions and you’ll be sippin’ in no time.
To start, you’ll fill two cups with ice.
We love using the traditional copper cups with this recipe but really, any glass will do the trick. Go ahead and add the juice of half a lime to each cup and then drop the halved fruit into your cocktail for garnish.
Next you’ll add the vodka and then fill each mug to the brim with Brizo’s Ginger Lime Craft Spiked Seltzer.
Gently stir, then serve with a lime wedge, fresh mint, and enjoy immediately. For extra herbal freshness, slap the mint sprig on your palm before adding it into the cocktail. This releases the leaves oils and intensifies their flavor.
- 1 (16-ounce) Can of Brizo Ginger Lime Craft Spiked Seltzer
- 3 ounces Vodka

- 2 Sprigs of Fresh Mint
- Ice
- Fill two cocktail glasses with ice.
- Squeeze the juice of half a lime into each cup and then drop the halved fruit into the cocktail for garnish.
- Pour 1.5 ounces of vodka into each glass and then top with Brizo's Ginger Lime Craft Spiked Seltzer.
- Gently stir and serve with a lime wedge, fresh mint, and enjoy immediately. For extra herbal freshness, slap the mint sprig on your palm before adding it into the cocktail.
