Our Favorite Korean Chicken Recipe
Serves: 4
  • ½ Red Onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Ground Chicken
  • 3 tbsp. Brown Sugar, packed
  • 3 tbsp. Reduced Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp. Sesame Oil
  • ¼ tsp. Ground Ginger
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 cup Kimchi, chopped
  • 1 tsp. Red Pepper Flakes, optional
  • 1 tsp. Sesame Seeds, optional for garnish
  • Fresh Cilantro, as needed for garnish
  1. Sauté red onion with olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Once softened, add ground chicken and continue to sauté until fully cooked and crumbled.
  2. Add the brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, garlic and kimchi. Continue to cook until thickened, about 3 minutes.
  3. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and sesame seeds. Serve with fresh cilantro.
