Serves: 2
Ingredients
  • 1 Sweet Yellow Onion, sliced into ½-inch rings and separated
  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp. Seasonings (Old Bay, Paprika, Garlic Powder, etc)
  • ½ cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. Pickle Juice
  • 1 tbsp. Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 cups Seasoned Panko Breadcrumbs
Instructions
  1. Peel the onion and cut into ½-inch slices and separate into rings.
  2. Grab three bowls and mix together the flour and seasonings in the first bowl. Then whisk together the mayonnaise, pickle juice, powdered sugar and egg in the second bowl. Lastly, pour the seasoned Panko breadcrumbs into the last bowl.
  3. Dip each ring into the wet dredge, then the flour mixture, back into the wet dredge and then into the panko bread crumbs. Place each ring on a parchment-lined baking sheet until you've completed coating all the rings.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375F. Evenly divide the rings, in a single layer, among the two baking sheets. Air fry for 5 minutes, alternate baking sheets, and air fry for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Serve immediately with your favorite condiments.
