Flatbread Pizza with Pear, Gorgonzola, Sausage and Honey

This flatbread pizza recipe is a delicious combo of salty, savory and a touch of sweetness. Makes for a phenomenal party app or easy dinner.
Serves: 6 Slices
Ingredients
  • 1 Large Prepared Flatbread Crust
  • 2 Cajun Style Andouille Sausages, sliced and sautéed
  • Asian Pear or Bartlett, sliced
  • ⅓ cup Gorgonzola Cheese Crumbles
  • Honey, as needed
  • Micro or Regular Arugula, as needed
Instructions
  1. Slice and cook sausage in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned, about 5 minutes.
  2. Garnish flatbread with sautéed sausages, sliced pear, gorgonzola crumbles and a drizzle of honey.
  3. Bake at 350F for 10 – 15 minutes, or until the blue cheese has melted.
  4. Sprinkle with micro arugula (and an extra drizzle of honey, if desired) and enjoy immediately.
